Description: The Right Way to Apply for or Renew Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permits

Applying for an MS4 permit can be a daunting task. Make this federal requirement a bit easier by learning the ins and outs of the permit application process in this day-long workshop. The course is designed for municipalities applying for a new permit and also for those seeking a permit renewal. The workshop will help your municipality make sure it's complying with the permit package instructions. Instructors will review each section of the permit package in detail and discuss different examples of MS4 Total Maximum Daily Load plans. Each session will include plenty of time for questions and answers. The workshop will also address the Chesapeake Bay Pollutant Reduction Plan and permit guidance. Participants will be able to use the materials provided to prepare their Notice of Intent or Individual Permit application.
